Paco Rabanne revolutionised 60′s fashion with his chainmail and unexpected material combinations.

Now we see major designers like Chanel working these textures into mainstream fashion.

Watch this space…At Paris Premiere Vision last month Summer 2013 fabrics were featuring Jetson inspried elements…and moonscape photography endorsed the see through themes.

COMFORT ZONE Hmmm!

The other night Joan Rivers trashed this outfit as having no place on city streets.

Her words were colourful but I tend to agree.

The new pyjama look for next Summer is better suited for home lounging or barefoot at the beach!

INDIGO

Winter’s Classic!

Easy to wear with black and berry shades, Indigo is proving to be a hot ticket colour in sales this winter.

Its popularity can be attributed to versatility, even redheads suit it.

It is also proving the season’s darling with the grey brigade. Want a new shade to beef up black…go indigo!

A WINNER!!!!!

‘The BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL’ is a must see movie

Simply the most easy, uplifting watch I’ve seen in years.

Nothing to dislike…..then go get a curry afterwards….

The prefect night out with friends.

PENCIL SLIM

The skinny skirt works on every woman. With stretch it pulls you slim like a corset.

Choices are long and lean, to the knee or well above (if you’re wearing over the knee boots).

These skirts get even bigger next summer so start early.

HOW TO WEAR

A fuller figure looks best with loose or oversized top (not too long) but pencil skirts look great with snug fitting tops and jackets also.

It all depends on your body and what flatters.

Winter tube or pencil skirts cry out for opaque hose, slim line boots, high courts or flat ballets.

See our options below…they’re going into store as we speak…..

Fitted skirt Style 4226L                                                Long Tube Skirt Style 4227

Asymmetric Skirt Style 4172                                      Panelled Skirt Style 4191

HOOP EARINGS GALORE

They come, they go, but fine hoop earings are the now accessory, right through this and next summer.  They are also a great look when in colours.

HOW TO WEAR….necklaces with them tend to be overkill, go bangles instead.

They don’t work for everyone especially on short necks…get lightweight ones…can look like a gypsy wedding with hair down if you’re as old as me… but great with up-dos.

MUST SEE

Arrived back just in time to see a little of the Red Carpet…talking Oscars,

I saw The Artist last evening. It’s a must see for any of you visual divas.
